The first thing that came to mind at the conclusion of this show was simply WOW! The Roots took the stage in front a sold out Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD last night, and showed why both shows scheduled for back to back nights were deserving of being sold out. I don't think that in my entire life I have ever witnessed an artist or group who plays with the energy, intensity, and enthusiasm than that of The Roots. They had a great attitude and stage presence that certainly showed. You could tell that they were actually enjoying themselves, always smiling, laughing, and dancing as they played. I can't imagine having that much energy over such a prolonged period of time. The show started about ten minutes before 9pm and continued until around 11:20pm. Thats right, The Roots treated their fans to an unbelievable 2 1/2 HOUR PERFORMANCE! 
The dedication that The Roots show to their fans and give towards their performance is like none other. Of the hundreds of concerts I've been to in my life, this one would have to rank top 5 EASILY.
