Jet Lag World Tour Hits The Fillmore (Silver Spring)

This was by far one of my favorite shows of the year. The night started with the The Cab and smooth vocals of singer Alex Deleon to get the crowd going. I have seen hundreds of band perform live in my day and can say this with extreme confidence. You would be hard pressed to find many bands that sound as good live as The Cab. They convey a style that can be slow and make you want to dance romantically with a loved one, and then turn around and make you start dancing like a person possessed.

Next came Forever the Sickest kids ,who had a seemingly short set i thought, but nonetheless kept the crowds jumping and in high spirits in anticipation of the headliner Simple Plan. The night ended with the highly energetic and crowd pleasing set of Simple Plan. I have seen Simple Plan many times before, but on this night they delivered a performance better than those I have seen in the past. All in all this tour was the perfect mix of bands who complimented one another perfectly.
