3 Doors Down deliver!

When you think 3 Doors Down, you think rock. Melodic and rhythmic, but also heavy and hard rocking. A band with utter consistency in their success throughout the years. Since the band’s first record “The Better Life” in 2000, to their most recent release “Time Of My Life” in 2011,  3 Doors Down continue to produce chart topping records and songs. It’s no surprise that droves of people came out to support the group from Escatawpa, MI, the band's smooth and rhythmic sound entertains the ears and really pulls you into the music. At the same time they can also come at you with some hard hitting songs that make you really want to rock out. To me this is a great balance within one band and keeps things fresh and makes it easy to sit through a set or an album that will inevitably only leave you wanting more.

The live show does just that. With a performance that rocked an intimate crowd of what appeared to be around 500-600 people, the band took the stage and opened the set with songs “Time Of My Life” and “Duck And Run”. They played with amazing sound and great energy, keeping the crowd fully invested the whole way through. With story like lyrics and a passionate delivery/stage presence, 3 Doors Down is one of those bands who seem to really connect with their audience. Front man Brad Arnold is incredibly good at connecting with fans through his words as well as actions, taking videos and photos on audience members phones, shaking hands while perfoming, and speaking to crowd members between songs. The energy was great from both the band and the crowd. The band wrapped up the 13 song set with their best known hit “Kryptonite”  and the also extremely popular song  “When I’m Gone”.

The live show is one that can be enjoyed by all groups of people. With a very inviting and family friendly sound and style, 3 Doors Down is perfect for young kids, teenagers, parents, grandparents, whoever! Always a good time, I would always recommend this band and their live show to any and all. If you find yourself fortunate enough to have the opportunity to attend one of their performances, don’t pass it up!
