Escape The Fate along with Attack Attack! will begin the This World Is Ours Tour tomorrow in Buffalo, NY on April 5th. The 33-city tour will go coast to coast and joining the two headliners on the road will be The Word Alive, Secrets and Mest.
"We have had a rough few years, and this year was probably the toughest,” commented Escape The Fate lead singer Craig Mabbitt. “I don't think I personally have been more excited to step foot on a stage and play a show for our fans. We also have so many good friends and family that are sharing the road with us on this tour, so I really hope you’re as excited as I am for the ‘This World Is Ours Tour’."
“I'm very excited about this tour,” added Escape The Fate drummer Robert Ortiz. “This is our chance to go back to our roots and get back out to the fans that truly care about us. The tour is also meant serve our need to be on stage together as much as it does for our fans to see us there. Although we have had our share of problems in recent years, but we are here to stay. We aren't pulling any punches. Anyone who has seen us at our strongest knows that at our very core, we bring it live. We are back, we are strong, and we are here to stay.”
Escape the Fate has been in the midst of recording a new album which will be their second time working with producer John Feldmann (The Used, Story of the Year). The band’s forthcoming fourth album will be released later in 2012. Escape The Fate released their self titled third album Escape the Fate which debuted at #25 on the Billboard Top 200 upon its release in 2010.
