Paramore announces title and release date for upcoming 4th album!
The time has come Paramore fans, friends, and family... And for that matter, the time has come for the rest of you as well. We are ready to spill the beans about what we've been doing over the last *coughYEARcough*. With the most pride and passion we could ever possibly express, we would like to announce that this album, our fourth freaking album... Will be self-titled, 'Paramore'. It has been self-titled through nearly the entire process. In fact, what usually takes us weeks on end to sum up and put a label on only took us a five minute conversation this time around. The whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends. It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, as people! Sincerely, we feel that the best way to give it a name is just to call it what it is. This album is us.
The first single off the album is called "Now". Not really sure what else to say except for we love this song. It just feels like the perfect way to start this new journey we are embarking on not only as a band but as a movement. To show people that you can lose battles but come back and win full on wars. You can rise from ashes. You can make something out of even less than nothing. The only thing you have to do is keep moving forward!
Thanks to our fans for believing in the three of us before we ever even did. And to our producer, JMJ, for seeing a brand new band in us. We are prouder than ever and more excited now than ever to be Paramore.
'Paramore' will be released April 9th.

Every Time I Die announce tour.
Revered purveyors of metallic mayhem Every Time I Die have announced plans to take their rousing live show on the road for a series of headlining dates with Massachusetts metalcore band The Acacia Strain in 2013. The band will also be joined by post-hardcore band Vanna, Hundreth, and No Bragging Rights. The band will hit the road starting Wednesday, February 6th in Chicago, IL. Tickets go on sale starting Friday, December 7th. All on sale times and locations can be found here.
Buffalo’s magnificently brutal heavy rock ensemble Every Time I Die will be out on the road in continued support of their powerful and critically acclaimed album, Ex Lives which hit 20 on Nielsen Soundscan this past March. The record was produced by renowned heavy rock producer Joe Barresi (Tool, The Melvins, Queens of the Stone Age, Parkway Drive) and contains magnificently heavy and cathartic onslaught of modern hardcore infused metal. Ex Lives is the band’s sixth full-length studio album and much anticipated follow up to their 2009 breakthrough New Junk Aesthetic which Absolute Punk heralded as a musical “weapon of mass destruction”.

Our fellow vikings will assure a strong support with the return of TYR (Faroe Islands), and introducing HEIDEVOLK (The Netherlands) for the first time in North America. Also for the first time on our lands, a warm welcome to Norway's TROLLFEST! Opening the festival will be Los Angeles' own pagan lords HELSÓTT.

Rod Stewart announces "Live the Life" North American tour.
Rod Stewart has just announced plans to launch his eagerly anticipated "Live the Life" tour in North America this Spring. Stewart will be joined by legendary artist, Steve Winwood for an unstoppable evening of hits from two of rock music's most seminal artists. The "Live the Life" tour is set to kick-off in Chicago on April 10 and play ten arenas throughout North America including dates in New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Atlanta, Detroit and Greensboro, NC.

Stewart's year began on a high note with his second induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside the Faces, followed by his reuniting with Stevie Nicks to reprise their chart-topping tour. Earlier in the month he also revealed that he's nearly completed work on his first original rock studio album in almost 20 years.
Joining Stewart for the tour is special guest, Steve Winwood , a fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famer who was a key member of seminal groups The Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, supergroup Blind Faith and Go. Throughout his extraordinary five decade career, Winwood has won two Grammy Awards and was hailed #33 on the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time by Rolling Stone Magazine in 2008 for his hits such as "Gimme Some Lovin," "Dear Mr Fantasy," "Can't Find My Way Home," and "Higher Love."
