Dark New day to release album on Goomba Music.

Goomba Music is proud to announce a partnership with hard rock veterans Dark New Day. The band's sophomore album (title to be determined) is scheduled for a February 2012 release. This album mark's the follow up to their highly successful debut "Twelve Year Silence" which was released in 2005. The new album will feature some of the band's finest material to date and a deluxe edition will include exclusive bonus tracks.

Dark New Day formed in 2004 and features Will Hunt (Evanescence), Clint Lowery (Sevendust), Brett Hestla (Virgos Merlot), Troy McLawhorn (Evanescence), and Corey Lowery (Stereomud, Eye Empire). The band went on a hiatus after releasing the "Black Porch (Acoustic Sessions)" EP while the members focused on their current projects. The band came together in 2011 to compile tracks for this special release to put out as a "Thank You" to all the loyal fans that have continued to follow the band and request more material from the group.

Jack's Mannequin announce 2012 tour dates.

Jack's Mannequin have announced 2012 tour dates in support of People and Things, which was released on October 4th. The band just wrapped up a five week nationwide tour this weekend with a pair of hometown shows that included the sold-out annual Dear Jack Foundation Benefit Concert at Los Angeles' El Rey Theater on Friday that raised money for frontman Andrew McMahon's Dear Jack Foundation, a volunteer-run charitable organization that helps raise awareness and supports charities that help young adult cancer patients. Jack's Mannequin will perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on December 5th, and then in the new year will set off on a string of US dates that kick off in St. Louis on January 19 and run through February 11 in Washington DC. Following the US tour they will head to Australia for the Soundwave Festival before heading to Japan for a handful of dates.

People and Things debuted at #1 on Billboard's Alternative Albums Chart and at #9 on the overall Billboard 200 chart, as well as at #9 on Spotify's album chart. American Songwriter called the first single "My Racing Thoughts" "a superb piece of piano rock that rivals some of Elton John's best '70s hits" and calls People and Things "easily the most musically cohesive album in the band's catalog thus far." Absolute Punk agrees that "it isn't a stretch to call People and Things the best record of Andrew McMahon's career. It's almost a given that no pop album this year will be able to match the depth of this release."

Rammstein confirm north american tour.

Rammstein, the Berlin-based band known for their incendiary live performances, will bring their brand new live production to North America this spring for 21 dates kicking off April 20 in Ft. Lauderdale. Tickets for the tour, presented by Live Nation, will go on sale beginning Friday, Nov. 18 and will be available at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.

Demand for Rammstein's pyrotechnic-laden performances has been so great in Europe, where they regularly play capacity level soccer stadiums, the band spent nearly a full decade without setting foot on North American shores. In December 2010, the sextet returned to North America for two sold out shows including a performance at Madison Square Garden. Rammstein followed with a 9-day trek of major North American cities in Spring 2011.

The Los Angeles Times described the live experience as "...epic stagecraft on a Wagnerian scale, several notches up from most arena rock."

The tour announcement comes on the heels of news of the band's first retrospective release, Made In Germany 1995 - 2011, which will be available in North America (through a distribution deal between Universal Germany and Vagrant Records) on Dec. 13. Rammstein recently released "Mein Land," a new four-track digital single that features two new songs: the title track and "Vergiss uns Nicht" as well as remixes from BossHoss and Mogwai. A video directed by Jonas Akerlund for "Mein Land" is also currently featured Rammstein.com. Rammstein's most recent full-length album, Liebe Ist Für Alle Da, debuted at #13 on the Billboard Top 200 in October 2009.

Rammstein first stormed America in 1998, touring with a set based on their Grammy-nominated breakthrough second release, Sehnsucht, featuring Du hast, the song that brought the world’s attention to the band. During their 1998 Family Values tour, praise was high, as well as indignation: band members were jailed in the US on indecency charges due to the highly provocative live show.

MACHINE HEAD unveiled their new music video for the single 'Locust' today exclusively with Pitchfork.com. The track 'Locust' is cut from the band's latest Billboard-charting album, Unto The Locust. The video is directed by veteran MACHINE HEAD video director Mike Sloat and features motion picture-quality computer-generated imagery that includes a sinister swarm of locusts enveloping the band in a cloud of darkness and chaos, much like the ominous track itself. The incredible effects were all created by a team of veteran Hollywood CGI artists and monster makers including album art designer Paul Gerrard who all helped bring Paul's amazing album artwork to life.

MACHINE HEAD bludgeoned into the charts last month with a remarkable #22 Billboard Top 200 chart debut for their new album, Unto The Locust. Released in North America on September 27th, 2011 via Roadrunner Records, Unto The Locust is widely-regarded as a new opus in modern metal, garnering stellar reviews referring to it as “a breathtaking work”, “one of 2011’s essential albums”, “a modern metal masterpiece”, “the most accomplished record [MACHINE HEAD] has ever recorded”, and “album of the year” by several of today’s top music publications and entertainment journalists. Be sure to purchase Unto The Locust on iTunes or physically at Best Buy or your local music retailer.

Gym Class Heroes drop off remaining dates of current tour.

Due to illness, Gym Class Heroes are cancelling the remaining performances on the co-headline tour with The Dirty Heads. The Dirty Heads will continue on the road to finish out the tour as planned as the sole headliners. Wallpaper. will continue on as well as direct support.

The tour, which began October 9th in Dallas, TX is running through the fall and ending on November 19th in Anaheim, CA. While the November 4th date in Milwaukee will unfortunately be cancelled altogether, The Dirty Heads will continue to play the rest of the dates as scheduled. The band has made the following statement in regards to Gym Class Heroes cancelling:

“While we hope Travie gets better soon (nothing worse than being sick on the road), the last thing we wanna do is cancel the whole tour. So no matter what happens we wanna stay out and keep playing music and putting on the best shows we can for you guys. Whether it’s playing for 2 people, 20 people or 2000 people we are staying out. Thank you guys for your continued love and support. We love you peace!!!! And it’s the first time we are playin’ some new songs!! Hope you enjoy.”

Be sure to check out THE DIRTY HEADS and their new music on any of the remaining dates of their now headline tour:
